A Question of Language Empty A Question of Language

Post by Moonmad 8/14/2011, 6:58 pm

Is there any way that Moonmad can have Ffolk back as a language? I think this apparent Chondathan-as-default-human-language thing is pretty silly and not at all in keeping with the notion of the Realms being, well, several different realms. I can't really picture the Ffolk getting on-board with another "universal" language. (Frankly, the old Moonmad spoke Common more or less under protest. It's not his fault the rest of the party didn't speak the simple but beautiful language of Kitty'kitty-Miaow like sensible people.)

Happy to accommodate. In our Forgotten Realms, the Moonshavians will continue to speak Ffolk as their more detailed, regional language.

Choosing the Moonshae Isles Regional Benefit allows for Ffolk as an option in place of Elven.

Oddly, the Moonshae Isles entry in the PG doesn't seem to mention elves anywhere that I can recall. Just fae. Fae everywhere. Fae and Amnians.
