Ioun is not in the Realms. There is no "god of magic" anymore.

They only got gods of important stuff that has an everyday effect on people's lives, like commerce. And murder.

Magic does not have a god. Murder does.

THE DEITY THAT HELPED CREATED THE REALMS UNIVERSE IS NOT AS IMPORTANT TO PEOPLE AS THE GOD. OF. MURDER.
